Open Cities Lab (OCL) is a non-profit organisation specialising in co-developing digital and data systems with the public sector across Africa. We build practical, modular, open-source solutions that strengthen service delivery, support better decision-making, and help public institutions build the capacity, governance, and trust needed for long-term impact. Through this work, OCL is helping lay the foundations for trusted, locally owned digital public infrastructure rooted in African contexts and built for scale.
